The Infundly Rated Research Conviction Designations framework
Infundly Rated is awarded to selected funds, investment trusts and index strategies that meet our research standards across the Four Pillars. It reflects a positive professional research judgement at the time of review.
Every approved strategy receives the same Infundly Rated designation. Within our research, Emerging, Conviction and Established provide additional context about the nature, maturity and durability of the supporting evidence. They help professional users navigate Fund Discovery; they are not separate grades of commercial badge.
Active fund framework
Active strategies are assessed across philosophy and edge, process and implementation, people and governance, and evidence of behaviour through different market conditions.
Tracker fund framework
Tracker strategies are assessed across exposure integrity, index design, replication and implementation, provider governance, cost discipline and tracking delivery.
Use the Infundly evidence-profile filter to explore Emerging, Conviction and Established strategies. Every fund shown with one of these profiles has met the same Infundly Rated research standard. The profile provides context on the supporting evidence; it is not a recommendation or a ranking of expected returns.

Emerging I
​
A positive research view where the strategy has credible foundations and merits attention, but some elements of the evidence are still developing.
How time and market cycles are considered
Track-record length is an important input, but it is not an automatic promotion mechanism. Relevant market conditions and the time needed to observe them can differ materially between asset classes, investment styles and strategy types. A fixed three-, five- or ten-year rule could therefore create false precision.
Infundly considers the quality and relevance of the available evidence, the continuity of the people and process, the conditions through which the strategy has been observed and any material changes that may strengthen or weaken the original case. A profile may be reaffirmed, changed, suspended or withdrawn following review.
